Vatika Complex

Vatika Complex is situated over at J-24 in Batla House. If you know the Jamia Nagar area, you know it gets incredibly crowded around here most days. This building has been part of the neighborhood for a good while now. We spend our days managing the different spaces and talking to the people who come in and out for various reasons. It’s not a shiny glass tower like you see in the movies; it’s more of a practical place where local people get their work done. The stairs are narrow and sometimes the lighting in the hallway could be a bit better, but it functions well for what it is. We deal with the usual stuff like electricity bills, keeping the place somewhat tidy, and making sure the water tank is full for everyone. There's always a bit of noise from the street outside, which is just part of living and working in New Delhi. On Fridays, it gets especially busy because of the nearby mosque and all the local activity in the market. We know most of the shopkeepers around here by their first names. It’s a community feel more than a corporate one. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays running. Sometimes things break and we have to call the plumber or the electrician, just like any other building in this part of town. It’s a busy, lived-in place that fits right into the local rhythm of Jamia Nagar.
