Vat Department In Income Tax Building , Ned Delhi

This place is located at 1-A, Dujana House, over in Matia Nahal. If you’ve ever been to the Jama Masjid area in Delhi, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people moving around. We are based in the Income Tax Building here. Dealing with VAT and taxes means there is always a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks. We spend a good part of the day just filing things and talking to people who come in with their forms. It can be quite noisy outside because of the market, but inside we just try to get through the files. The building itself is old, like most things in this part of Delhi. We have to deal with a lot of visitors every day. Some people are confused about where to go, so we spend time pointing them to the right window. It’s not a quiet office job at all. The 110006 area has its own rhythm. We get here early before the heat gets too bad, though the fans inside don't always do much. It's just a regular government spot where work happens slowly but surely. There’s no big fancy lobby, just hallways and wooden desks and a lot of ink stamps. We just keep up with the daily records and try to make sure everything is sorted by the time we lock up for the day.
