Vasant Vihar Club

The Vasant Vihar Club is actually located at Rz 26/18P on Gali No 35 in Indira Park, Palam Colony. I know the name might make you think we are in Vasant Vihar, but we are definitely over here in Palam. We are a small local club where people from the neighborhood can come to spend some time. It’s not a fancy place with a gym or a pool. We just have a few rooms where people can sit, talk, and maybe play some cards or carrom. We started it because there weren't many places for the older guys to go and relax during the day. The building is just a regular house that we converted a bit. It’s often quite noisy outside because Gali No 35 is a busy street with lots of bikes and people walking by. We don't really have any staff, just a couple of us who take turns looking after the place and making sure things are locked up at night. We don't charge much for people to come in, just enough to pay for the electricity and some tea. It’s a very informal setup. You don't need a special membership card or anything. If you live around Indira Park and want a place to sit for a while, you can just walk in. We’ve been here for a few years now and most of the regulars are like family to us.
