Varun Telecom

Varun Telecom is located at B-5/159 in Rohini. This area of Rohini is mostly residential, so things stay relatively calm compared to the main markets. Our shop is right there on the ground floor. It’s a modest space with just enough room for a counter and a few chairs for people to wait. I usually spend my time sitting behind the glass, looking out at the street and waiting for the next customer. We get people from the nearby blocks coming in for all kinds of small things. Maybe they need a new earphone set because their old one broke, or they want to put some money on their phone plan. B-5/159 isn't a huge place, but it's enough for what we do. The shelves are a bit cluttered with various accessories and boxes that we haven't gotten around to sorting out yet. I think people like that it feels like a real shop and not some cold, polished store. Sometimes we have the radio playing low in the background. It helps pass the time when things are slow in the mid-afternoon. We’ve been here long enough that we recognize the faces of the people who walk their dogs past the window every evening. It’s a steady kind of life, and we are just happy to be part of the Rohini neighborhood. There isn't much more to tell about us than that. We just keep things going one day at a time. It works.
