Vaishno Devi Helicopter

We sit in our office at F-9, Vijay Chowk, which is right in the middle of the Laxmi Nagar rush. Vaishno Devi Helicopter is the name on the door, and mostly we deal with people who are planning their big trips up to the shrine. It is a small space in Del-19 and it stays pretty loud because of all the traffic outside on the main road. We have a few computers and some old calendars on the wall. Usually, there is someone sitting on the plastic chairs waiting to talk about their travel dates. Laxmi Nagar is the kind of place where everyone is in a hurry, so we try to keep things moving. We are not a big fancy company with a lobby or free coffee, just a local spot where we do the work and handle the bookings. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing and other times it is quiet enough to hear the fan buzzing overhead. We know most of the shopkeepers around Vijay Chowk by now. It is just how things go here in Delhi-19. We show up every morning, unlock the gate, and start checking the schedules for the helicopters. People come to us because they know the address and they know we are actually here in the building. It is practical work and we have been doing it this way for a long time without much change. The paperwork can be a bit much, but we just take it step by step.
