Vaibhav Paper-Plate-Machines

Our office is at L-34 in Nirman Vihar, which is over in the Eastern District. Vaibhav Paper-Plate-Machines is where we handle the sales and service for machines that make disposable plates. We don't actually make the plates here; we provide the heavy equipment for other people to start their own small businesses. The machines are quite heavy and take up a lot of space when we have them in for testing. Most of our work involves explaining how to change the dies and how to keep the heaters running right. It’s a lot of mechanical stuff and electrical wiring. We get a lot of phone calls from people who are just starting out and have no idea how to operate the gears. We spend a good part of the day on the phone or out at customer sites fixing jams. Nirman Vihar is a pretty busy commercial hub, so we are always surrounded by other businesses. It can get a bit hectic during the middle of the week. We keep a stock of spare parts like springs and heating coils in the back. If someone’s machine breaks, they need it fixed fast so they don't lose money. We try to be quick about it, but sometimes parts are hard to get. It’s a lot of hands-on work and we usually go home with grease on our shirts. Our office at Nirman Vihar is easy to find, but parking can be a real pain.
