Usha Martin

We have our office set up over by the Swati Working Girls Hostel on Mandir Marg. It's right in the Connaught Place area of New Delhi, so there is always a lot going on outside the window. Being near the hostel means the area is pretty busy throughout the day with people coming and going. We do our work from this location, mostly handling whatever tasks come through the door. It is a bit of a unique spot to be based, but it works for us. The building is older and has that classic Delhi feel to it. We aren't a giant operation with hundreds of people, just a small team getting through the daily tasks. We deal with various things related to the Usha Martin name here. Most of our day is spent on the phone or sitting at our desks. The traffic around CP can be a nightmare sometimes, so we usually get in early to beat the rush. It is just a regular office setup, nothing fancy or polished at all. We have some old files, some computers, and we usually have some chai when we get a short break. People sometimes get confused finding us because of the hostel name, but we are right there on Mandir Marg. We’ve been here for a bit now and we know the neighborhood pretty well. Just a local office doing what we need to do in the heart of the city. We keep things simple.
