U.S.Embassy (Acsa), Delhi

Our office is located at Rz-9/331 in Gali Number 10. We are based in Jagdamba Vihar, which is part of West Sagar Pur in New Delhi. It’s a very local neighborhood, not like the big diplomatic areas you might see in other parts of the city. We work from this building every day, handling the tasks that come our way. The street can get pretty crowded with bikes and people walking by, so it’s always lively. We aren’t a huge operation here. It’s just a small group of us in a regular building. We have our routine: we come in, check the files, talk to anyone who has an appointment, and try to stay on top of the paperwork. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks and filing cabinets and a few fans to keep the air moving. We’ve been in this spot for some time, and we know the other shop owners on the lane. Sometimes we have to deal with the typical city problems like noisy traffic or the rain flooding the street a bit, but we just deal with it and keep working. We don't use fancy language or have a big lobby. It’s a practical workspace for practical things. We just do our jobs here in West Sagar Pur and go home at the end of the day like everyone else around here. It gets busy, but we stay organized.
