Tui

We are over here at Flat No 296 in the DDA Multistorey blocks in Dwarka Sector 19 B. It’s one of those buildings where you really get to know your neighbors because we are all packed in so close together. Living and working out of a flat like this in New Delhi 110075 has its own daily rhythm. Usually, the mornings start pretty early with the sounds of the colony waking up. Tui has been in this spot for a while now. We don’t have a big fancy storefront or anything like that, just our space on the upper floor where we handle everything. Sometimes the lift acts up, so we take the stairs, which keeps us moving. The address is pretty straightforward once you find the right block, though visitors sometimes get turned around in the DDA layout. It’s quiet enough most days, except when the school buses come through or the vegetable vendors are making their rounds outside. We keep our desks cluttered with papers and the tea kettle is almost always on because someone is always thirsty. It’s a practical setup. Nothing too shiny, just a place where things get done. We spend a lot of time looking out at the other blocks from the window. It feels like a real community here in Sector 19 B. People know where 296 is by now. We just focus on what’s in front of us and keep the doors open for whatever the day brings.
