We run our travel business from a place in Sonia Vihar, specifically at A603 in Part-1st. It is a local office in Delhi-94 where we spend most of our time looking at bus schedules and train timings. The room is quite small and it is usually filled with maps and printed papers for different holiday spots. In the summer, the Delhi heat makes the office feel very warm, even with the small fan running. Local people from the neighborhood often walk in to ask about ticket prices or if we have any cheap weekend trips available. We do a lot of the work on old computers that sometimes take a long time to load. It can be frustrating, but we just wait it out. There is no one sitting at a front desk to greet you; we just look up from our work when someone comes through the door. The street outside is very narrow, so it is hard for cars to get through. Most people just walk here. We handle all the bookings ourselves and double-check everything because we don't want anyone to get stuck somewhere without a room. It is a lot of repetitive work, like checking dates and names over and over. We keep a big diary to write down all the requests and cross them off as they are finished.
