Travelport

We operate out of C-52 in Vikas Puri. It’s a residential block mostly, so our office feels like a part of the neighborhood. Travelport is the name on our door, and we spend most of our time dealing with travel systems and data. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see big vacation posters everywhere. Instead, it’s a lot of computers and people with headsets on. We started out here a few years back and have just stayed in this same building. The air conditioner in the main room is a bit old and makes a humming sound, but it keeps us cool during the Delhi summers. We usually have lunch together at our desks or go down to the local market nearby for some street food. We don't have a big corporate lobby with a receptionist. Usually, if you knock on the door, one of us just gets up to let you in. It’s a simple way of working. We handle a lot of technical stuff that might seem boring to others, but it keeps the travel industry moving behind the scenes. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just focus on the screens and make sure the bookings and data are flowing like they should. It’s a quiet, steady job here in New Delhi-18. We like the routine and the fact that we know all the local shopkeepers.
