Travelport

Travelport is based out of L2/20 in New Mahavir Nagar, over in West Delhi. It’s a standard neighborhood office, nothing too flashy. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and we’re quite used to the rhythm of the area. We work mostly on the technical side of travel, making sure the systems stay up and running. It’s a lot of sitting in front of screens and checking data. The office isn't very big, so we all know each other well. We don't have a big reception desk or a cleaning crew that comes in every hour. We tidy up our own desks and make our own tea. It’s a practical way to run things. The street outside can get quite busy with traffic, but once you’re inside, it’s just the sound of keyboards clicking. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing. We’re just a group of people who understand how the travel industry works on the back end. If there’s a problem with a booking system, we’re the ones who look into it. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it’s necessary for everything else to function. We like being in New Mahavir Nagar because it feels like a real community. We aren't hidden away in some high-rise. We’re right here on the ground, just doing our jobs day in and day out, helping out where we can. It's a decent place to be.
