Travelport

Our office is tucked away in New Delhi with the pin code 110087. We deal with the technology side of travel which basically means we spend our whole day looking at flight data and booking systems. It is not a place where you come to buy a vacation ticket over the counter. Instead it is more like a hub where we make sure the systems are actually working for everyone else. The office is very functional with plenty of monitors and cables running everywhere. We are a group of people who mostly speak in technical terms and we do not worry much about how the office looks to outsiders. It is a bit of a maze of desks and sometimes it feels like we are living in a world of codes and numbers. The area around us is quite typical for Delhi with a mix of different businesses and small shops. We usually order in lunch and eat at our desks while we keep an eye on the systems. Every day there is some new technical glitch or a system update that keeps us busy for hours. We do not have any corporate slogans on the walls or anything like that. It is just a place for people who know their way around a computer and want to get their work finished. It is steady and sometimes a bit repetitive but it is what we do.
