Travelport

We are based in Ber Sarai, right in House No 70-A. It’s actually Room No-3 on the ground floor, so nobody has to climb any stairs to find Travelport. Virender Singh owns the house, and we’ve been operating out of here for a bit. Ber Sarai is a tight-knit area, lots of students and small shops everywhere. Our room is modest. We have a couple of desks, some chairs, and a computer that sometimes acts up when it gets too hot. There’s a window that looks out toward the street, but there’s not much of a view. It’s mostly just people walking by. We don’t have a big reception area or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you just walk right in. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once, but we make it work. The walls are painted a plain off-white, and we have some calendars hanging up to keep track of the days. Most of our work is done over the phone or just through paperwork we keep in the metal cabinets. It’s a quiet enough spot during the day, which is good for getting things finished. We usually get our lunch from the local dhabas around the corner. They’re cheap and the food is decent. That’s pretty much the reality of our daily life here in New Delhi-110016. Nothing too complicated, just a small room where we handle our business and stay out of the rain.
