Our office is situated at House Number 379 in Block C-3 of Janakpuri. Janakpuri is a massive residential colony in New Delhi, and our block is one of the older, established parts of the area. The house is a typical multi-story building and we use a portion of it for our daily work. It feels very much like a home, mainly because it is one. We have a small gate at the front and a bit of space where we park a couple of scooters. The street outside is lined with trees, which provides some nice shade during the summer, though the fallen leaves can be a bit of a mess to sweep up. Inside, we have set up our workstations in what used to be the living rooms. It is a comfortable enough space, even if the wiring is a bit messy with cables running along the floor. We have a small kitchen area where we brew tea several times a day. The atmosphere is pretty quiet most of the time, except when the local dogs start barking at someone passing by. We like being in Janakpuri because it is a well-connected area with plenty of places to grab a quick snack nearby. We are not interested in having a big glass office in a high-rise building. This house works perfectly well for us and keeps us close to the local community.
