Travelport (Intelenet Global Service)

We operate out of 16/12 Indra Vikas Colony, right near Mukherjee Nagar. It’s a lively part of New Delhi with a lot of students and activity everywhere you look. At Travelport, which is part of the Intelenet Global Service setup here, we focus on the practical side of travel support. The office isn't anything fancy to look at, just a place where we get the work done. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff that people don't usually see when they book a trip online. There are plenty of computers and phones ringing all the time. It’s not the kind of place where we sit around and have long meetings about synergy or anything like that. We just handle the data and the customer queries as they come in. The 110009 area is pretty busy, so there’s always noise from the street, but we’re used to it. We help with the technical bits and the bookings that keep the travel world moving. It’s a lot of screen time and checking codes. We don't try to sound like a commercial or use a lot of polish. We are just a group of people working in Indra Vikas Colony. Some days are faster than others, depending on how many people are traveling at the moment. We just keep our heads down and make sure the entries are correct. It’s a straightforward job and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time.
