Our office is on the second floor of C-119 in Dayanand Colony. Being in Lajpat Nagar means we’re right in the middle of everything, which is great but also means the traffic is a nightmare. The office itself is full of computer screens and the hum of server fans. We’ve got stacks of paper everywhere and the desks are mostly covered in notes and old coffee mugs. It’s a busy environment because the travel world never really stops moving. We spend a lot of time looking at booking codes and flight data. It’s not flashy work. We aren't sitting in a boardroom making big speeches; we’re usually just trying to figure out why a system is lagging or helping someone sort out a booking issue. The building is an older one, so the lift is a bit temperamental, and we often just end up taking the stairs. Dayanand Colony is a good place to be, with plenty of spots to grab a quick bite when we finally take a break. We have a small group of people here who have been working together for a long time. We know each other’s habits and who makes the best tea. It’s a practical, everyday sort of place where we just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get through the inbox before the day ends. It’s just us, working away in this New Delhi neighborhood, trying to keep the systems running smoothly.
