Travelport (Ebookers)

We’re located at H.No-1316 in Sector-23A over in Faridabad. It’s a bit away from the main chaos of Delhi, which is nice sometimes. Travelport or Ebookers, whatever people want to call us, is where we spend our hours. The office is full of computers and the sound of typing. We spend our days looking at screens, trying to find flights and hotels for people who are going all over the world. It’s funny because most of us haven't even been to half the places we book for others. We’re just regular folks who know how to navigate the booking systems. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all just sit there waiting, drinking tea until it comes back. It’s a quiet neighborhood in Faridabad, but our phones are always noisy. People call us when they’re stressed about their vacations or when a ticket doesn't show up in their email. We do our best to sort it out without making a big fuss. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to get through the pile of work on our desks so we can go home to our families. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes. You learn a lot about where people want to go and why they want to leave. It’s a decent place to work with people who actually care about getting the details right.
