Our office is actually inside a DDA flat, specifically Flat Number 408 in Pocket 5 of Mayur Vihar Phase 1. It’s a residential area, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office building. We’ve set up our computers and workstations in the rooms there. Being in a flat means we have a kitchen and a bit more space to breathe than a cramped commercial tower. We’ve been running Travelmasti from this New Delhi address for several years. It’s a quiet pocket of Mayur Vihar, which is nice when we need to focus on complex travel itineraries. Most of our work is done over email and phone, so we don't get a huge amount of walk-in traffic, but the neighbors know we are here. The flat is usually filled with the sound of people talking to clients or typing away. We try to keep things organized, but like any busy office, there are piles of folders here and there. It’s a practical way to run a business without the overhead of a big downtown office. We just like the community feel of the DDA flats and it serves our needs well for planning holidays. The stairs can be a bit of a climb but it keeps us fit. We have been here since the early days and the location is quite central for us.
