Travelite (India)

You can find us at I-152 in Laxmi Nagar, which is one of the busiest parts of Delhi. Our address is 110092, right in the thick of all the local markets and shops. Travelite has been running from this small spot for quite some time now. It’s not a large office by any means. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit in while they talk to us about their train tickets or flights. The street outside is always full of life, with rickshaws and people everywhere, so it never gets boring. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or a big waiting room. Usually, we just offer a glass of water to anyone who comes in. I like being in Laxmi Nagar because it feels like the real Delhi. We handle a lot of the travel details that people don't want to deal with themselves. The walls are covered in some old calendars and a map of India that’s started to yellow at the edges. It’s a very simple operation. We don’t go for any of that polished corporate style because that’s just not who we are. We just sit here, answer the phones, and try to help folks get their travel plans sorted out. It’s honest work, and we’ve made a lot of friends in the neighborhood over the years.
