We started this place in Raja Puri because we lived nearby and knew the area well. The office is in Gali Number 15, which is quite narrow, so parking a car is always a headache for us and the customers. People mostly walk here from the main road or take a rickshaw. We handle all sorts of travel things like booking train tickets or finding a good hotel in the mountains for families. Every morning we open the shutters and sweep the floor because the dust from the construction down the road gets in every night. The walls have a few old calendars and some maps that are starting to peel at the corners. We use basic computers and the internet can be a bit slow when it rains, which makes things frustrating. Uttam Nagar is a busy place, and Raja Puri is right in the middle of all that noise. We know the local shopkeepers, and we often share tea from the stall at the corner while waiting for the printer to finish. There isn't any fancy lobby or a receptionist here. Just us sitting at our desks, answering the phone, and trying to help people get where they need to go. We deal with passports and visas too, which involves a lot of paperwork and checking things twice. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the travel business. We go home when the work is done.
