Our office for Travelguru.Com is based out of House Number 455 in Sector 29, Faridabad. It’s a regular house in a residential sector, so it’s much quieter than if we were in a main market or a big office complex. We like it this way because it’s a calm place to sit and work on travel plans. We’ve got a few rooms set up with computers and phones where we handle all the bookings. Most of what we do is looking up hotel rooms and flight tickets for people who don't want to do it themselves. We don’t have a big flashy sign outside, so most people who come to see us are locals from around Sector 29 who already know where we are. It’s just a small team of us here. We spend our day checking schedules and talking to airlines. The office feels more like a home than a workplace, which we prefer. We have a small kitchen where we make our own tea and coffee, and there's usually a newspaper lying around. We’ve been in the travel business for a while now, so we know how to find things that aren't always easy to see on the big websites. We don't have any corporate slogans; we just try to get the dates and the prices right for whoever calls us. It’s simple work, and being in a house makes the long days feel a little bit shorter than they actually are.
