Being based in Mehrauli at A9 Hill Top Apartment gives us a bit of a view, though mostly we are just staring at computer screens. Travelguru Online has been operating out of this Dada Badi area for some time now. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads of New Delhi, which helps when you are trying to focus on booking details. We spend our time helping people figure out where they are going and how to get there without too much trouble. Sometimes the internet is slow or a customer is frustrated because a hotel didn't look like the pictures, and we have to handle that. It is just a few of us in the office most days. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the files organized. It is not a massive corporate building with elevators and guards; it is just an apartment where we get things done. Dealing with travel means things are always changing, so we stay pretty busy. We don't really do big meetings. Usually, it is just shouting across the room to ask someone about a flight price or a hotel stay. The building gets a bit cold in the winter, so we have a small heater. It is a simple setup. We are just here doing the work, making sure bookings go through, and trying to stay on top of all the travel updates that come in.
