Travel is our small outfit located at 2218, Rajguru Road in the Chuna Mandi area of Paharganj. If you’ve ever been to Paharganj, you know it’s a whirlwind of tourists, rickshaws, and narrow alleys. Our office is right in the thick of it. It’s a small space, mostly filled with maps, some old computers, and a lot of notebooks. People are always dropping in to ask about train timings or bus routes. It’s usually pretty dusty because of the wind blowing through the bazaar. We have a couple of chairs for visitors, but they are usually occupied by bags or stacks of paper. The noise from the street never really stops, so you have to talk a bit louder to be heard. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a couple of us who know the routes and the schedules. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to confirm bookings or checking if a flight is on time. The tea stall right across from us is where we get our daily fix. It’s a busy, cramped, and lively place to work. We see people from all over the world walking past our door every hour. It’s just a basic travel spot where we try to help people figure out their next move in this big city.
