Travel Service International

Travel Service International is over at H.No. 136 in Safdarjung Enclave. We use a part of a residential house for our office. It’s a nice neighborhood with some trees and it’s a lot quieter than the main markets in other parts of Delhi. We have been here for several years. Inside, it looks more like a home than a regular office. There are desks pushed against the walls and plenty of papers and maps everywhere. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who handle travel bookings and talk to people on the phone. We don’t really do any advertising or have a big sign outside the gate. Most of our clients are people who live nearby or found us through a friend. It’s a very relaxed way of doing business. We spend most of our time looking at flight schedules or train routes on the computer. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we just sit and have tea until it comes back on. It’s not a polished agency with uniforms or anything like that. We just wear our regular clothes and get the work done. The room can get a bit cluttered with all the files, but we know where everything is. We like being in Safdarjung because it’s easy for people to reach us. It’s just a simple, practical setup in a quiet house where we help people with their trips.
