Travel Partner

Our office is located on Patel Street in the Gandhi Nagar area. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how packed and noisy the streets get every day. We are in building 9/1048. It is a small space, mostly filled with old desks, some chairs, and travel calendars on the walls. We help people with bus tickets and train bookings mostly. It gets really loud outside with all the rickshaws and people shouting in the market nearby. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with bright lights. Usually, people find us because a friend told them about us or they happen to live in the same street. We spend a lot of time checking schedules on the computer. Sometimes the booking system is very slow and we just have to sit and wait it out with the person waiting. It is a humble setup, nothing like those big travel websites you see online. We know many of our regular customers by their names. We have been in this street for a long time now. The tea boy from the corner comes by twice a day, and that is usually when we take a short break. It is a lot of repetitive work, typing in names and dates, but it is what we do to earn a living. We don’t have air conditioning that works properly, so we just keep the ceiling fans on high. It is just a small local shop.
