Travel Monitor

Chanakya Puri is a bit different from the rest of Delhi. It’s much greener and the roads are wider. Our office, Travel Monitor, is located right in the middle of this area. We spend our days looking at travel routes and checking on bookings. It’s a decent place to work because it doesn't feel as cramped as some other parts of the city. We have a few desks and a water cooler that makes a funny noise every time someone uses it. Most of us have been working here together for a long time. We know who likes their coffee with extra sugar and who prefers tea. We don't really have a big boss breathing down our necks. We just know what we have to do and we get it done. Sometimes we walk around the block during lunch just to stretch our legs. There are a lot of embassies nearby, so you see people from all over the world walking around. It’s an interesting spot to be in. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just like doing our job well enough that things run smoothly. The evenings are quiet here, which is nice when we are finishing up our last few emails for the day. We just lock up and head out like everyone else. The Metro station isn't too far, which helps with the commute home.
