Travel Junction

We are over here in Tri Nagar, specifically Ganesh Pura. It is a bit crowded around 2128/166 but we have been here for a good while now. Travel Junction is basically just us sitting at the desks helping people figure out where they want to go next. Sometimes it is a simple train ticket to see family and other times it is a big trip that takes a lot of planning. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or staring at computer screens waiting for pages to load. The traffic outside can get really loud in the evenings but inside we just focus on getting the details right so nobody ends up stuck at an airport. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we keep our maps and files. People from the neighborhood stop by, sometimes just to ask a quick question about a passport or a bus timing. We try to be useful. There is always a lot of paperwork to sort through and phone calls to return. Some days are quieter than others when the monsoon rain hits the street hard. We just keep the fan running and drink our tea while we work. It’s a regular job in a busy part of Delhi. We just do what needs doing to get folks from one place to another without too much trouble.
