Travel Inn

Our place is called Travel Inn and we are located right here in Jammu, in the Jammu & Kashmir region of India. Being up here means we see a lot of people passing through on their way to different places. Our office and guest area is quite simple. We have a few rooms and a main desk where we sit and wait for visitors. It is not a luxury hotel by any means. It’s more of a functional spot for travelers who need a place to stay or some help with their plans. The building itself has been around for a while and we do our best to keep it clean and comfortable. The staff is mostly made up of locals who have lived in Jammu their whole lives. We know the area well and can tell you where to get a good meal or which roads are closed. Most days are pretty quiet, especially in the winter months when things slow down. We spend our time checking people in, making sure the linens are fresh, and talking to the drivers. It’s a very hands-on job. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just seeing the sign. We like it that way because it keeps things personal. It’s a humble business, and we are just regular people trying to make a living in a beautiful part of the world.
