Travel Industry

We run things out of a house in Sector 71, Noida. It’s C Block, House Number 24, and it’s pretty easy to find if you know the area. Since we’re in the travel business, our phones are basically attached to our hands. We’ve got two main numbers, 9891969926 and 9810238537, and they’re almost always ringing with someone looking for a flight or a holiday package. It’s a bit of a local operation, so we know a lot of the people who call us by their first names. We started this because we liked seeing new places, and now we spend our time helping other people do the same. The office is really just a converted room with some sturdy desks and a few maps pinned up. It’s not a fancy agency with posters in the window. Most of our work is done over the phone or through emails late at night when the internet is faster. We deal with all the usual headaches, like sudden cancellations or price changes, and we just try to get the best deal we can for whoever is asking. Sometimes the power goes out in Noida, and we have to wait a bit to get back online, but we manage. It’s a small, family-style setup, and we prefer it that way. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big sign outside, just a lot of experience and a desire to help people get where they're going.
