Our office is at S-4 in the Hans Apartments. This is in East Arjun Nagar, over in the Shahdra area of New Delhi-110032. Being in an apartment complex means it feels more like a home than a sterile office. We have to climb the stairs every morning, which is good exercise I suppose. The rooms are filled with files and old travel brochures. We don't really throw things away. It’s a bit crowded but we like the atmosphere. We spend the day on the phone or typing away. Shahdra is a very busy part of the city. You can always hear the horns and the general hum of people outside. We have a small table where we eat our tiffins together. It’s usually the best part of the day. We talk about the news or what’s happening in the neighborhood. We don't have any fancy leather chairs. Just basic plastic ones that do the job. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it. We just focus on getting the bookings right and making sure the paperwork is finished. It’s a simple life here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big lobby. We just want to finish the list of things to do. Most of us have been working together for years. It’s a steady routine that keeps the bills paid and the days moving along nicely.
