Travel Cordinator

Being a travel coordinator in a place like Vasant Vihar keeps a person pretty busy. My office is in the Lok Sabha Flats, at 64-C. It’s a decent area of New Delhi, though finding a parking spot can be a nightmare if you arrive at the wrong time. I’ve been working from this flat for a while now, setting up trips and figuring out schedules for people. It’s mostly just me and a couple of phones and a computer that’s seen better days. I spend a lot of time on hold with airlines or trying to fix mistakes in hotel bookings. People call me up at odd hours because they forgot a ticket or their flight got delayed. I don’t mind it too much, it’s just part of the job. The flats here are older, but they have a bit of character. I usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet while I work. I don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one to let people know where I am. Most of my clients are regulars who have been coming to me for years. They know I’ll get it done eventually, even if it takes a bit of back and forth with the travel agents. It’s a lot of staring at screens and talking on the phone, but it’s what I know how to do after all these years.
