Travel Consultant

We work as Travel Consultants here in Darya Ganj, specifically on Street Pahar Wali. The address is X/420, and it’s right in the middle of all the old city chaos. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know how narrow the lanes can be and how much history is packed into every corner. Our office is tucked away, and it’s filled with old maps, notebooks, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of our time looking at routes and checking timings for people. It’s mostly just us sitting here, answering calls and trying to figure out the best way to get from one place to another. The bells from the nearby temples and the sounds of the market are always there in the background. It’s not a quiet place, but it has a lot of character. We don't really use any complicated systems; we mostly rely on what we know and the notes we’ve kept over the years. Sometimes the street gets so blocked with rickshaws that it’s hard to get in, but that’s just Darya Ganj for you. We keep things very simple here. There are no suits or formal meetings. We just sit around, drink a lot of tea, and work through the piles of requests that come in. It’s a very manual process sometimes, but we prefer it that way. It keeps us grounded in the neighborhood, and we like the pace of this old part of town.
