Travel Company

We've been here in Raghubir Nagar for a while now. It's just a small office where we help folks figure out their trips. Most days we're just busy on the phones or looking up tickets. People come by, sit on the chairs, tell us where they want to go, and we try to find something that fits their budget. It’s not fancy. My cousin started this because he liked trains, and now we do buses and planes too. New Delhi can be a bit loud outside the door, but in here it’s just us and the computer screens. We don't have some big philosophy about it. We just know that getting from one place to another shouldn't be a huge headache. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we drink tea and wait. We handle a lot of the paperwork that people hate doing themselves. If someone wants to visit family or go see the mountains, we look for the routes. It’s just work for us, helping neighbors get where they need to be. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our spot at B-184. You learn a lot about people by where they want to go. Some want the cheapest seat, some want a bit of comfort. We just write it all down and make the bookings. That's pretty much what goes on here every day from morning till the sun goes down. It’s not much, but it’s what we do well enough.
