Travel Company

Started out in Village Wazirabad around a decade ago. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We just have a few desks and some old chairs for when people come in to ask about bus tickets or train bookings. Most of the time it’s locals from Delhi - 84 stopping by because they know us by face. The traffic outside is always loud, and there’s usually a bit of dust coming in through the door. We spend the day looking at computer screens, trying to find a seat on a train that isn’t already full. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to tell people to wait a bit while we drink some chai. It’s just how things go here. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It is just a few of us who know the routes and the prices. People come here because we are right in the neighborhood and they don't want to deal with complicated websites themselves. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the files are stacked a bit high on the corner shelf, but everything is where it needs to be. We keep track of everything in big registers and on the PC. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it works for the folks around Wazirabad. We just stay busy with the bookings and making sure people get their papers on time.
