Our office is located in one of those DDA flats, number 40,A, right here in New Delhi. It's a small space, but we manage to fit all our desks and computers in there. Being in a residential area makes it feel a bit more quiet than the main roads. We spend most of our day looking at screens, trying to figure out travel routes and booking tickets for people who want to go somewhere else. It's a lot of back and forth on the phone, talking to airlines or hotels. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to wait a bit, which is frustrating but that's how it goes. We started this because we liked the idea of helping people plan their trips. It’s not always easy, especially when prices change every five minutes. We have piles of papers and brochures everywhere, though everything is supposed to be online now. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to ask about a flight to Mumbai or somewhere. We aren't a big flashy agency with a storefront on the high street. It’s just us in the flat, working through the bookings one by one. Coffee keeps us going through the afternoon slumps. We try to be honest about what's available and what's not. It gets a bit chaotic during the holiday seasons, but we've gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
