Travel Agent

We’ve been running this travel shop at 459A in Ghaziabad for a while now. Most people around here know where we are because it’s a busy spot. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls, just a desk and some chairs where we help neighbors figure out train tickets or maybe a flight if they’re going far. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. Ghaziabad can be noisy, but we like being right in the middle of it. We deal with passports and visas too, which can be a real headache with all the paperwork. My nephew helps me out part-time. It’s mostly just us answering the phone and trying to explain why the prices changed overnight. People stop by just to ask about the weather in different cities or how long the drive is to the mountains. We don’t have a website that does everything automatically because we prefer talking to people face to face. It feels more honest that way. Usually, there’s a tea stall nearby, so we have tea while looking over schedules. It gets crowded on Mondays. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years.
