Travel Agency

Our travel agency is located over at B-1/253 in New Moti Nagar. It’s a pretty standard spot in New Delhi-110015. We’ve been in this building for a while now. The name is just Travel Agency, which keeps things simple I guess. People in the neighborhood know us mainly because we've been around the block for years. The office is usually filled with the sound of the keyboard tapping and someone talking on the phone to a bus operator or an airline. It gets quite dusty because of the road outside, so we’re always wiping down the desks and the computer screens. There are posters of places like Goa or Manali on the walls, but they’ve started to fade a bit from the sun hitting them through the window every afternoon. We don’t do anything too fancy here. We just sit down, look at the screens, and try to find the best routes for whoever walks in. Sometimes someone from the nearby shops drops by just to chat for a minute and have some tea. The afternoon sun makes the front room quite warm, so the AC stays on most of the time during the summer months. We handle a lot of train bookings and local tours too. It’s a local business, through and through. Nothing corporate about how we operate. We just drink our tea, answer the calls, and try to make sure we don't mix up any travel dates.
