Travel Advice

Travel Advice is situated on the first floor of Q22/A in Jungpura Extention. This part of New Delhi has a very specific feel to it, with narrow streets and buildings that are all packed together. To get to us, you have to walk up a narrow flight of stairs that can be a bit steep. The office has a balcony that looks out over the street, though the view is mostly just other balconies and a few tangled power lines. We spend a lot of time on the phones and looking at maps or screens. The room is filled with travel brochures that are a bit outdated and stacks of printed itineraries. It is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The fan overhead clicks a bit on the highest setting, which is where we keep it most of the time. Jungpura is a good area because you can get to almost anywhere in South Delhi pretty quickly from here. There are plenty of small cafes and shops nearby where we grab lunch. It isn't a high-end corporate space. It feels more like a lived-in room where people come to figure out their next trip. We have some old maps pinned to the walls and a few souvenirs from places we’ve visited or helped others get to. It is a practical, busy little spot in a very old part of the city. We just keep things organized and handle the requests.
