Transport Corporation

Transport Corporation is situated right near the Delhi Haryana Border on G.T. Road in Kundli. We are located at the office of Transport Corporation of India Ltd, just opposite the Tafe Tractor building. This is a very industrial area and the G.T. Road is always full of big trucks and lorries moving goods. Our office gets a lot of dust from the road because of all the traffic passing by all day and night. We have desks and a lot of paperwork to deal with every single day. It is a busy place because of being so close to the border. Drivers come in and out all the time asking for directions or handing over documents. We have a small area where they can sit for a minute. The noise of the engines is something we have just gotten used to. We don't have any fancy carpets or decorations here. It is a place for work. We wear regular clothes and just get on with the tasks. Sometimes we go across the road to get tea when things are a bit slow. The weather out here in Kundli can be quite harsh, very cold in winter and really hot in the summer months. We have some fans and a small heater for when it is needed. It is a very basic setup but it works for what we do. We check the logs daily.
