Transport Corporation

The Transport Corporation is based over in Old Seema Puri. Our address is H.No. J 319, and it's right in the middle of a very busy part of the city. You can hear the traffic and the horns honking all day long. It's a dusty area because of all the trucks and vehicles moving around. The office itself is quite plain. We have big ledgers and notebooks where we write down the transport details. It's not high-tech, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure the loads are where they need to be. There is always someone coming in or going out. The floor is usually a bit dirty from all the boots walking through. We have a couple of ceiling fans that hum loudly, especially in the heat of the Delhi summer. We don't have a fancy reception area or a coffee machine. We just have a water cooler in the corner. Sometimes the phone lines go down and we have to use our personal mobiles to get the work finished. It's a bit chaotic but we are used to the pace. Dealing with transport means things never go exactly to plan. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay on top of the paperwork. It’s honest work and it keeps the city moving through all the noise.
