Trans Continental E Services(Jet Airways Back Office)

We are based at 1708 Outram Lane, which is right near the Kingsway Camp area and Guru Tegbahadur Nagar in New Delhi. This office serves as the back office for Jet Airways, so we handle all the small things that people don't usually see when they are at the airport. Trans Continental E Services is where the tickets are processed and the complicated refunds are sorted out. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of students and local shops around, so there is always something happening outside the windows of the building. The office itself is quite functional, with plenty of desks and a lot of paperwork regarding flight paths and passenger lists. We spend most of our time staring at the blue and green screens, entering data and fixing any errors that pop up in the system. It is not the kind of job where you get a lot of glory or attention, but if we do not do our part, the planes and the passengers do not move the way they should. We have a lot of folders stacked up on the wooden shelves, and sometimes it feels like we are completely surrounded by paper. The tea man comes by twice a day, which is something we all look forward to for a short break. It is just a group of people working hard in a small lane in Delhi to make sure everything stays on schedule.
