Trade & Travel Limited?, Nairobi, Kenya

Our setup is a bit unique because we have roots in Nairobi, Kenya, but my main workspace is here in India at B-707 Indraprastha Villa. This is in Noida Sector-61, which is a fairly quiet residential part of the city. I do a lot of the trade and travel logistics from this apartment. It’s mostly me and a laptop, handling emails that come in from different time zones. Sometimes I’m up really late or very early to catch people in Kenya before they finish their day. The villa is a nice place to work, though it’s definitely more of a home environment than a formal office. I’ve got my books and papers spread out over the dining table most of the time. Managing things between two different countries means I have to keep track of a lot of moving parts. I spend a lot of time on international calls, and sometimes the connection isn't the best, so I end up shouting at my computer. Sector-61 is a good area because it’s easy to get around, and I can step outside for a walk when my eyes get tired from looking at the screen. It’s not a big company with hundreds of employees; it’s more of a personal operation where I handle everything myself. Dealing with trade across borders is complicated, but doing it from here in Noida makes it feel a bit more manageable and grounded. The neighbors probably think I just play on my computer all day.
