Tourism Sector

We are over at House Number 259/3 in Munirka, New Delhi. It is a small office where we handle travel and tourism stuff. Munirka is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, with all the narrow lanes and houses close together. We are mostly busy answering phones and looking up tickets or places for people to stay. It’s not a very big space, just a couple of rooms with some old posters on the walls. The street outside is always full of students and people moving around because of the location. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking if you’re coming by car, so most of us just take the bus or walk. We have a few computers that are a bit slow but they get the job done. It’s a bit messy with papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. People come in to ask about trips or just to see what’s available. We aren't trying to be some big corporate agency. We’re just a small local outfit helping people get from one place to another. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for most of us. It’s a simple life here in the office. We just do our bit and hope the trains and planes run on time for everyone who books through us. Munirka is a loud place, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years.
