Tourism Destination Management Company

We are a small group of people working out of 1666-34 on Hari Singh Nalwa Street. That’s in Karol Bagh, which is always crowded and full of life at all hours. Our company name is Tourism Destination Management Company, which sounds a bit official, but we are really just a few desks and a lot of maps and travel books. We help people figure out where they want to go for their holidays or business trips. New Delhi is a huge place, and Karol Bagh is right in the middle of all the chaos and shopping. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer trying to book tickets and find hotels that aren't too expensive for our clients. We don't have a big storefront with neon signs or posters. Most people find us because a friend told them we helped them out before. It’s a lot of drinking chai and talking about train schedules or flight delays. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to come back in an hour or so. We don't try to sell anyone on fancy tours they don't actually need. We just listen to what they want and try to make it happen without too much trouble. It gets very hot in this office in the summer, but we have a good cooler to keep us going. We’ve been on this street for a long time.
