Being in Delhi means we are always in the middle of everything. We run Tour My India from here, and it is a pretty busy life most of the time. We spend a lot of our hours on the computer looking at maps, checking hotel rates, and trying to find the best routes for people. Most people who call us want to see different parts of the country, and we do our best to put those trips together in a way that makes sense. It's not always easy because India is huge and things change fast, but we have been doing this long enough to know the ropes and the shortcuts. Our office is a normal Delhi workspace. There's usually some tea going and someone is always talking to a driver or a hotel manager on the phone. We don't do anything too fancy or high-tech. We just book the cars, find the rooms, and try to make sure people don't get lost when they arrive. Dealing with the heat and the constant noise of the city is just part of the job for us. We aren't some massive corporation with thousands of people in suits; we are just a local team that knows the roads. Sometimes the plans change at the last minute because a train is late or a road is closed, so we spend our afternoons fixing those little problems before they get bigger. It's practical work. We like seeing the photos people send back.
