Total Group (Logistics & Supply Chain), New Delhi

Our setup is a little different, being based out of Munger at 124 Madhopur. It’s a quiet area compared to the big city of New Delhi, but we handle logistics and supply chain work from right here. Working with Prakash Narayan Sinha, we keep things moving from this spot in Basudeopur. Trucks, warehouses, and transport schedules take up most of our brain power during the week. It’s about getting things from point A to point B without losing anything or running too late. Sometimes a truck breaks down on the highway or a road is closed, and we have to scramble to find a detour. That’s just how the industry is. We use a lot of paper logs and simple spreadsheets. The office is simple, just what we need to keep the records straight. We’ve been at this address for a long time. People around here know the name on the gate. It’s not flashy work. It involves a lot of waiting for deliveries and then a lot of rushing when they finally arrive at the dock. We eat lunch together when we can. The heat in the summer can be tough in the office, but the ceiling fans keep the air moving enough. We aren't interested in fancy talk. We just want the shipments to arrive on time and in one piece. It's a lot of coordination between different drivers and warehouse staff. Every day brings a new set of puzzles to solve with the local transport routes.
