We are over in Chanakya Place Part 1, at J-1/42. This is where we handle all the travel bookings and car rentals. It’s a small office in New Delhi and we’ve been at it for some time. Usually, the phones are ringing with people asking about bus tickets or wanting to rent a car for a trip out of the city. We have a few drivers we work with, and we spend a lot of time making sure they know where they are going and that the cars are in good shape. It’s not always easy because traffic in Delhi can be a real mess, and things don’t always go according to the plan. We just sit here and try to organize the trips so people can get to where they need to go without too much trouble. We deal with a lot of paperwork and schedules every day. Sometimes a person wants a tour of the local sights, and other times they just need a ride to the airport at four in the morning. We don’t have a big fancy storefront, just our office where the work gets done. It’s a practical business. We’ve learned that being honest about times and prices is the best way to handle things. It keeps the regulars coming back when they need to travel again. There’s always another booking to sort out by the end of the day.
