Tivoli Garden

Tivoli Garden is sitting over at 10 146 in Daksin Puri. It is a bit of an oasis in a very busy part of New Delhi. We spend most of our time out in the garden itself or in the small office area near the entrance. The work here is very physical; there is always grass to be mowed, plants to be watered, and the whole place needs to be kept tidy. When the weather gets hot, it can be really exhausting to be outside all day, but that’s just how it goes. We have a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s fixing a fence or painting a wall. The neighborhood of Daksin Puri is loud and full of life, so there’s never a quiet moment around the garden. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for a long time and people know where we are. Usually, we are just busy with the daily maintenance and making sure the space is usable for everyone. It’s not always a perfect-looking place, but it’s honest work and we do our best with what we have. Sometimes the water supply is a bit low or a machine breaks down, and we just have to figure out a solution on the fly. It’s a simple, straightforward operation that we run day in and day out.
