We have been operating out of A-36 in the DDA MIG Flats over in Madipur Village for quite a while now. It is a busy little corner of Punjabi Bagh, and if you know this part of New Delhi, you know how the traffic can get. Our office here isn't a fancy glass building or anything like that. It is just a regular, functional space where we handle the daily business for the Times Of India. Most days, we are just hunkered down at our desks dealing with whatever news or paperwork comes our way. It gets a bit crowded with all the files and newspapers laying around, but that is just how we work. People sometimes stop by to drop things off or ask questions about a local story they heard. The neighborhood is pretty active, so there is always some noise from the street coming through the windows. We usually take our breaks at the small tea stall nearby when things get too hectic inside. It is just a practical spot for us to get the job done. We do not have a big lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and you will likely see someone on a call or typing away. We have seen the area change over the years, but our little spot in the flats stays pretty much the same. It is just a real place where real work happens every single day.
